100 POSTS ON MY BLOG!!!

100 POSTS ON MY BLOG!!!

Happy 100 to me! I cannot believe that I have planned, written and posted 100 entries since I began this blog in the summer. Thank you to Debra who got me started and who continues to encourage me almost daily. Also, her blog, Deliberateescape.com inspires me because of her awesome writing and photos.

I have been touched by the number of readers who have shared their love for my posts. Some of you also have medical challenges and you have let me know that my positive attitude has influenced you. This makes me so happy and prompts me to continue. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your stories.

It also has been surprising to me how many readers are enjoying the site just for the fun of reading the posts. I have had much feedback from those of you who have their cup of coffee while reviewing the blog topic of the day. You have been so generous in your comments by expressing gratitude for the simple memories a post may elicit. I know that subjects such as, cursive writing, Sunday drives, chocolate chip cookies and blue days have struck a chord for many of you. And that the readers who are pet lovers have sooo related to several photos and writings relating to Sadie and Sally, our yellow labs.

I have especially enjoyed learning that the blog is reaching so many readers in all geographical areas. As I write an entry at any given time, I have no idea who will be reading it and it does my heart good to know that it is reaching a wide audience and it is being enjoyed.

This milestone of 100 posts has made me reflect on where I want to go with the site. I am going to invite some guests to write. For example, patients who have PD and had the Deep Brain Stim Procedure and others whose PD symptoms that manifest differently than mine will be included in upcoming posts. I am also asking for others to contribute by writing on randomly selected topics, like Mother Nature, Family and Holidays and Humor. I just want to mix it up while still keeping it my blog.

So Happy 100 Posts and I look forward to blogging on and celebrating my 200 !

Thank you readers from the bottom of my heart….
