O HOLY NIGHT

O HOLY NIGHT

Every time I hear the song, O Holy NIght, I literally get goosebumps. The beautiful music and words make me take pause and think about the true meaning of the season. I think it is so easy to become overwhelmed and stressed during the holidays that we forget to reflect on what it all represents to the world and to each and everyone of us.

The carol, O Holy Night, was composed by Adolph Adam in 1847 to the French poem, “Minuit, chretiens” (Midnight, Christians) written by a wine seller, Placide Cappeau de Roquermaure. The beautiful lyrics and music evoke the true emotion of Christmas and is my favorite Christmas song..
