So Far, So Good

So Far, So Good

It has been three weeks since my first post on this blog and I am so pleased with the responses that I have received. When I first started writing, it was hard to picture who would actually be viewing my blog, but I hoped it may be helpful and even entertaining to any and all who would read it. Well, so far, so good.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the positive reaction from so many people who have been following the posts.  I have learned that honesty is greatly appreciated by the readers. Knowing this makes it easier to continue sharing my journey with Parkinson’s, openly and truthfully. Sometimes I have embarrassing moments and feel uncomfortable in certain situations.  Part of me just wants to hide and not share my fears and tears with anyone, but I think that is selfish and unhealthy.  So I am learning through this blog to share even my most sensitive experiences with others, especially those with disabilities. It seems to help them and it certainly helps me. There is something to be said about comfort in numbers and that misery likes company. So let’s keep  going and see what happens!
